The beaches have recently undergone an $18.5 million dollar beach renourishment project including additional upgrades making the beautiful sugar white beaches more accessible to residents and visitors a like.

The newest addition is the re-opened Navarre Pier, which is the longest pier in Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. The original pier was damaged by hurricanes in 2004 and 2005. The new Pier is open for fishing and for walking seven days a week. Day passes and annual passes are available for purchase at the Pier.

Education in Navarre

Education in Navarre is administrated by the Santa Rosa County District School system headquartered in Milton, Florida. There are four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school in the community of Navarre, all of which are A Schools.  The Navarre School district is highly desired because of the A-rated schools and small beach community feel.
